As a Senior Associate in FS Tax - Managed Services- GTC Corp, you will play a pivotal role in providing tax planning, compliance, and strategy guidance to clients, helping them navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. Within our Tax practice, you will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations, reviewing and analyzing financial data, preparing and filing tax returns, and assisting businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance.
As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will leverage your skills to deliver high-quality work, using a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems. You will develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing, while upholding professional and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently prepare and deliver Tax Compliance documents with minimal supervision
- Assist Management Trainees in understanding processes and quality expectations
- Handle US Tax Notices process with improved efficiency and accuracy
- Assist in ad-hoc data clean-up activities
- Perform tax payment reconciliations, validations, and variance analysis
- Identify data quality issues and escalate them appropriately
- Support Senior Analysts by preparing review-ready deliverables
- Contribute actively to SOP updates and process improvement initiatives
Required Skills
- Post Graduate with working knowledge of US tax (1065/1120) and financial concepts
- 1–3 years of experience in tax operations or compliance roles
- Strong Excel skills including advanced formulas and reconciliation techniques
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to mentor junior team members informally
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for a Master's degree In at least one of the following fields of study: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration
- At least one of the following: Progress toward professional certifications such as CA, CA (Inter), CPA, CFA (Level I), or equivalent internationally recognized certification
- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements
- Demonstrating proficiency in corporate tax planning and compliance
- Utilizing analytical thinking to break down complex tax concepts
- Excelling in drafting and preparing comprehensive tax documents
- Navigating the complexities of global tax regulations and compliance

- Open to work 4 days in Office
