Global Trade Compliance USA Intern
Role description
From the employerProvide administrative and operational support to the Global Trade Compliance USA team by ensuring the accurate collection, control, and follow-up of customs documentation, as well as timely communication with U.S. customs brokers and cross-functional teams to support compliance with international trade requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Collect and consolidate weekly reports submitted by U. S. customs brokers.
Process the daily release of shipping documents and waybills provided by U. S. customs brokers.
Track documentation related to import operations into the United States. Retrieve and maintain records of CBP Form 7501. Distribute and maintain the HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) database with authorized customs brokers.
Organize and maintain the department's electronic filing system. Provide administrative support for customs compliance activities.
