Are you ready to take the lead on tax and VAT in a dynamic and international company? Nets is looking for an experienced and driven Head of Tax to head up our tax operations in the Nordic region, including Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Baltics – covering corporate tax, VAT, and transfer pricing – while managing a small team and collaborating closely with Group Tax in Italy.

As Head of Tax, you will be responsible for all tax-related matters across the Nordic region with revenue of EUR 600 million (approx. 20% of the Nexi Group). You’ll lead a dedicated tax team, ensure full compliance, support the business on strategic initiatives, and act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You will report directly to the Head of Accounting and Tax and work closely with both finance and commercial teams – as well as with Group Tax in Italy on group-level initiatives.

**About Your Future Role**

In this position, you will

• Lead and develop the Nordic tax team
• Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance for corporate income tax, VAT, and transfer pricing
• Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation in line with local and international requirements
• Handle relationships with tax authorities and external advisors
• Act as a trusted advisor to the business on tax implications of transactions and business decisions
• Collaborate with Group Tax in Italy on international projects and alignment
• Identify tax risks and opportunities for optimization across the region

• Relevant education, such as a master's degree in Tax, Law, Accounting, or Economics
• 7–10+ years of experience in a similar role in a tax department or from an audit firm
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax, VAT, and transfer pricing in a Nordic and European context
• Experience with team management and leadership
• Ability to work independently and drive strategic initiatives
• Strong communication skills in English – both written and spoken
• A proactive, business-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach
