From the employerWe are looking for a Indirect Tax Segment Lead for our Asia Emerging Markets.
Working as part of Thomson Reuters’ AEM business, you will be responsible for
the end to end Indirect Tax (VAT/GST) Segment.
About the role
As a Indirect Tax Segment Lead, you will be responsible for
- Ownership of strategy, design, business requirements, feature and
functionality tradeoffs and release schedule for Indirect Tax a set of
propositions, products or services.
- Partner with sales / marketing to develop marketing strategy and product
launch activities
- Direct and influence cross-functional teams in order to ensure dependencies
for proposition, product or service delivery are met
- Responsible for gathering and prioritizing client feedback and understanding
client needs in order to drive innovation and increase client adoption and
retention
- Responsible for developing comprehensive product definitions, concept
proposals and business cases which result in marketable products and
services.
- Involved in budgeting activities, development of 3rd party partnerships, etc.
- Responsible for reviewing current products to ensure that quality and
currency are being maintained
About You
In this role of Indirect Tax Segment Lead, you will have
- Professional Tax or Accountancy qualification
- Practical experience in tax compliance and / or advisory, ideally across more
than one country
- Experience in VAT implementations and using ONESOURCE Indirect compliance is
preferable and a strong advantage.
- Strong tax technology skills. A good understanding of Indirect tax
legislation as well as practical insights / experience in the use of
technology in this area
- Organized and methodical approach to work, especially attention to detail
