We are now seeking a dynamic Manager, Senior Manager or  Director to join our

leading Indirect Tax team to work with a diverse range of clients, across a

What you’ll do

  • Offer professional guidance regarding the indirect tax consequences

associated with transactions.

  • Manage complex indirect tax projects
  • Build relationships with clients as a valuable step to further developing

your career

  • Work collaboratively within the indirect tax team and across PwC to deliver

solutions to clients

  • Support clients with indirect tax reporting obligations and responding to

regulator reviews

  • Engage with the Australian Taxation Office on GST issues
  • Identify risk areas through assurance reviews and due diligence reviews,
  • Assist our tax technology team in delivering a range of data and tax

technology services.

  • Manage multiple tasks with competing priorities
  • Simplify complex messages and communicating them to clients who may not be

tax people

  • Show a keen interest in AI, technology, and an understanding of the benefits

of automation.

  • Demonstrate the PwC's values of act with integrity, make a difference,

  • Uphold PwC’s code of ethics and business conduct.

What we’re looking for

  • Significant hands-on experience in GST/indirect tax advisory and compliance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian GST legislation, including areas

such as financial services, property transactions, digital services and

cross-border supplies.

  • Experience with GST governance, M&A/Deals work, tax technology and ATO

engagement will be highly valued.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to

explain complex tax concepts to clients

  • Proven project management capabilities and ability to work autonomously
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to business

development activities will be highly valued

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (accounting, commerce, law) qualifications

preferred

  • A keen interest in technology and an understanding of the benefits of

automation

  • Client-focused mindset with demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong

professional relationships

  • To be considered you must demonstrate Australian Tax experience
