Together, we’re building a more resilient planet – one innovation at a time. Role Overview: At our office in Mumbai, India, you will join the FMC indirect tax team. More specifically, you will step into our regional indirect tax team alongside experienced colleagues.
As part of Indirect Tax Team, you will manage the VAT compliance of several entities within the APAC region and the major focus will be on India business operation. FMC Group have business presence all over India through presence of manufacturing, toller and warehouses. As FMC Group has multi-State business operation presence, there will indirect tax compliance spreaded all over India.
Key Responsibilities
Your main responsibility will be to manage indirect tax compliance, reporting and litigation support for all the states wherever business operation exist in India with activities such as but not limited to guiding business team, filing indirect tax returns, submitting refund claims, performing account reconcilation, ensuring completion of audit or assessment with external parties, carrying out data validation, ensuring timely tax payments.
Some of the key responsibilities will be as follows: Ensuring timely and accurate compliance and reporting obligations including indirect tax returns, reconciliation, assessment, trackers, tax accounting, audit and notices for the APAC region; Partner with members from the business team required any any inputs from compliance and reporting obligations to ensure full alignment; Tax Planning, opportunity and optimizing efficiency through continuous evaluation and improvement process including monitoring recent changes on tax reporting and compliances including indirect tax policies.
Qualifications
Above 3-6 years of experience working in the field of indirect taxation; Should be qualified CA or equivalent degree of MBA or LL. B; Candidate working in one of Big4 or Large Manufacturing MNC will have an added advantage; Flexible in traveling to different tax offices; FMC is an equal opportunity employer.
