**About the role**

This role offers the opportunity to own and scale Kheyti’s finance function during a phase of rapid growth. You will build resilient systems and teams, ensure audit-ready and compliant financial operations, and provide decision-quality financial insights to leadership. You will partner closely with business and operations to enable execution at scale, while working in close alignment with the leadership on priorities, trade-offs, and escalations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • End-to-End Finance Ownership: Own core finance operations with accountability for accuracy, timeliness, and decision-readiness; ensure predictable closes.
  • Reporting & Financial Analysis: Lead the AOP preparation and rolling forecasts; prepare decision-oriented MIS; drive variance analysis, and highlight risks, trade-offs, and corrective actions.
  • Working Capital & Cash Management: Manage cash flows, receivables and payables; ensure working capital discipline, and proactive planning to support execution.
  • Audit, Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Lead statutory and tax audits end-to-end across India and the US; ensure timely, accurate compliance with applicable laws, grant requirements, and regulatory filings.
  • Finance Systems, Controls & Scalability: Build and scale finance systems and controls that grow with the organisation; strengthen data integrity, reduce manual interventions, and ensure processes are repeatable, auditable, and fit for scale.
  • Automation, Efficiency & Execution Discipline: Operate with a systems-first mindset; continuously identify opportunities to automate routine work, optimise

workflows, and shift finance from reactive execution to predictable, tech-enabled operations.

  • Team Leadership & Accountability: Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team with clear roles, ownership, and capability upgrades; act as the

single point of responsibility for finance outcomes.

  • Business, Legal & Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with cross functional and Leadership teams; provide finance oversight on key business agreements;

coordinate with legal counsel and secretarial partners to ensure end-to-end closure and governance hygiene.

**Must-Haves**

  • CA with 5-7+ years of post-qualification experience and end-to-end ownership in fast-growing organisations
  • Proven experience leading audits and statutory compliance independently
  • Experience building and leading finance teams
  • Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills
  • Hands-on experience driving process improvements, automation, or system implementations in finance (reducing manual work and improving reliability)

**Nice-to-Haves**

  • Experience working with multi-entity or multi-country structures (especially India-US)
  • Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books & related finance tools
  • Exposure to AOP ownership, forecasting, or cash planning in growth-stage organisations
