**Arkansas Talent Group i**s searching for our **Lead Tax Administrator / Lead Admin** for our long-term respected public accounting client.

The Lead Administrator will review completed tax return packages before filing, ensuring supporting documentation is complete, missing forms are identified, and filing errors are minimized. This position also supports client billing, document management, and tax workflow coordination across the firm. • Support client billing functions and ensure timely processing.
  • Work closely with tax professionals to keep work moving efficiently through deadlines.
  • Maintain organized records and track workflow status across multiple clients and returns.
  • Adapt to tax software, billing tools, and process improvements as needed.

**Required Qualifications**

  • Recent experience in public accounting or tax processing.
  • Experience reviewing tax returns and supporting documentation.
  • Familiarity with public accounting workflows and deadline-driven processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Comfort working in a tax-focused environment rather than a general administrative role.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Experience with tax preparation and workflow software.
  • Experience with practice management or billing systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
  • Familiarity with OCR and billing automation tools.

**Compensation and Schedule**

This is an hourly role with occasional overtime around deadlines, though significant overtime is not expected throughout the year. Compensation is competitive and based on experience. Annual bonuses may be discretionary.

The firm offers a strong benefits package and a close-knit culture within a smaller team environment. Benefits may include employer contributions toward health coverage, HSA support, retirement plan contributions, fully paid dental/vision/life/disability coverage, PTO, paid holidays, reduced summer and fall schedules, and wellness perks.

The firm also emphasizes long-term employee growth, practical support during busy season, and a culture that values accessibility, teamwork, and work-life balance.

**Why This Role Stands Out**

This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys tax processing, prefers a structured public accounting environment, and wants to contribute to the quality and efficiency of the tax practice. The role offers meaningful responsibility, stability, and the chance to work closely with an experienced team.
