**About the Role**
We're seeking a Manager - Accounting & Tax who is excited by the opportunity to play a key role in establishing and growing our proposed Melbourne CBD presence.
This is a unique opportunity to join a growing office from the beginning, working closely with Partners to develop client relationships, build a high-performing team and help shape the future direction of the practice.
You'll take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, become a trusted adviser to businesses and private clients, and have the autonomy to make decisions, drive improvements and influence how the office grows and operates.
You'll be supported by an experienced leadership team, while enjoying the visibility, influence and career opportunities that come with being part of a growing office and a progressive firm.

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to
- Lead a quality client portfolio, delivering exceptional tax, compliance and advisory outcomes.
- Build trusted client relationships and become a valued business adviser.
- Drive month-end and year-end reporting, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and a seamless client experience.
- Champion quality, governance and best practice across all client engagements.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering growth, accountability and success.
- Take ownership of workflow, resourcing and delivery planning to achieve outstanding commercial and client outcomes.
- Partner with leaders across the business to drive continuous improvement and enhance client value.
Job Requirements
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Solid experience across SME / private group clients.
- Strong grounding in Australian accounting and tax / Australian Accounting Standards.
- Proven ability to lead multiple priorities and deadlines with strong organisation and judgement.
- Strong people leadership skills, with a track record of developing others and building a sense of belonging and shared outcomes.
