Manager (Data Analyst, Property Tax Division)

[What you will be working on]

Explore, experiment, and deploy emerging analytical/ AI techniques, including advanced techniques such as geospatial analytics for continuous business improvements and best practices to continuously keep abreast of the latest development in analytics

Extract and analyse property and stamp duty data for policy reviews, research studies and solve business problems

Leverage data analytics and automation tools for compliance and valuation work as well as to improve the operational performance of the Division

Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities and drive data and analytics projects

Develop dashboards for management reporting and information retrieval by the Division

[What we are looking for]

Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Business Analytics or equivalent analytics fields

Prior experience in data analytics/mining, machine learning and AI area is strongly preferred

Proficiency in SQL and Python is a must. Experience in SAS, R, PowerBI, etc. is a plus

Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to explain technical solutions and actionable insights to the business users and partners

Self-driven and motivated

Ability to question, probe and analyse

Resourceful and able to work independently in a team environment

Chartered AI Engineer (CAIE™) will be an added advantage
