Manager, Financial Governance, Tax & Services

**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Manager, Financial Governance, Tax & Services** to join our Finance team at RHB Banking Group. This role supports daily financial operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and contributes to strategic decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.

**What you will be doing**

• Prepare financial statements and management accounts for subsidary
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions and reconciliations.
• Review and analyse balance sheet and profit and loss accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, including IFRS/FRS and internal accounting policies.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items.
• Support corporate tax, withholding tax, GST/VAT and deferred tax reporting requirements.
• Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation and management responses
• Participate in finance transformation, automation and system enhancement projects.
• Support Head of Finance and Section Head in relation to financial reporting

**What we're looking for**

• 3–5 years of experience in external audit, tax, and financial reporting
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Excel; Big 4 experience is an advantage
• Resourceful, independent, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
