Make an impact with our National Tax Services
Group as a Manager. This diverse team of professionals provides best-in-class
industry and technical expertise to internally drive the success of our Tax
practice. As a trusted advisor, you’ll work internally to support the delivery
of tax services, the development and coordination of key training programs and
materials and the communication of tax matters.

every business transaction has tax consequences and each year, tax laws and

**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain firm standards, processes and tools to
support the delivery of tax services to our clients
- Troubleshoot queries relating to the preparation of tax returns
through the firm’s tax software
- Manage and maintain tax templates in accordance with the latest
tax updates
- Develop internal training materials and practice aids to support
the implementation of firm standards
- Facilitate and assist with firm-wide learning and development
events as required
- Research and keep up to date with the latest changes in local tax
legislation; draft internal and external tax publications
- Issue tax technical research and information/support to
professionals throughout the firm
- Prepare and participate in internal tax compliance and planning
projects
- Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and
personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and
conducting performance reviews
Requirements
**Qualifications**
**Skills:**
- Experience preparing and reviewing domestic tax
compliance (T4s and T5s) and implementing tax reorganizations
- Experience with private companies and
owner-manager taxation is considered an asset
- Solid understanding of business, accounting,
management and practice development principles
- Proven people management, relationship
building, and leadership skills
**EducationQualification:**
- Bachelor
of Commerce
- Masters
or Diploma in Business Administration or Accounting or equivalent
experience
- **Certifications:**
- CPA designation
- Completion of level 1 and 2 of the In-Depth Tax
Program****
**Experience:**
- 8+ years of relevant tax practice experience in
a public accounting firm
