**About the Role**
Reporting to the Senior Tax Quality Manager, who will support your career growth and pathways, you will have opportunities to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders across both firm-wide Quality and Tax Teams, assisting with responses to daily quality and risk queries, contributing to both policy development and the execution of a broad range of strategic quality projects.
This role can be based in either **Adelaide** or **Brisbane.**
**Key Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Lead the identification and analysis of risks and regulatory obligations for the provision of tax services, including regulatory and professional obligations of tax professionals
- Support the design and implementation of responses to regulatory change
- Co-ordinate annual reviews and evaluation of tax services as part of the firm’s system of quality management
- Drive change management activities and continuous improvement of risk intelligence within the tax business
- Support the review of tax policies, procedures and processes

**About You**
- Experience in tax, regulatory compliance, change management, policy development and/or governance
- Strong analytical and critical thinking ability, with experience in providing commercial and solutions-focused advice
- Strong verbal and written communication ability, with excellent attention to detail
- Effective time management with a desire to strengthen skills in risk and project management
- Bachelor of Laws, Accounting, Commerce (Finance), Taxation or equivalent experience in tax, accounting, legal or risk management
**About the Team**
BDO’s Tax Quality Team is responsible for the effective operation of our quality management system within the tax business at BDO. You will be part of the team responsible for protecting the BDO brand, complying with legislative and professional obligations and helping tax teams deliver the highest quality client service.
The Tax Quality team’s responsibilities include driving BDO’s response to increasing regulation of the tax profession, as well as playing an integral part in delivering efficiency through appropriate systems and technology, supporting the firm’s growth. This role provides an exciting opportunity to be part of the profession’s response to significant regulatory change.
