About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Tax Service Team Lead to lead a global team responsible for delivering critical tax operational services, tax master data management, SAP tax configuration, and continuous process improvement initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of Tax, Finance, Technology, and Operations, requiring both strong technical tax expertise and people leadership capabilities.
You will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of business-as-usual (BAU) tax processes, supporting tax-related projects and compliance activities, driving data quality governance, and identifying opportunities to improve processes through automation and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Tax Service Team, being a visible leader of the Team and overseeing engagement with multiple stakeholders across Tax, Finance, Tech and other business teams.
- Actively lead and support other Tax Service team members to ensure delivery of their responsibilities and support their development. Be the first point of contact for escalations
Execute Tax operational activities per agreed framework and process. Key technical activities include SAP tax determination logic, including tax codes, tax types, condition tables, and system behaviour (e.g. overrides and TP log), ensuring consistency and scalability of solutions; updating Tax Master Data; and, delivery of other Tax processes such as Tax Reporting and Plastic Packaging Taxes.
Work with Indirect Tax, Trade Compliance and Trading Partner Finance Teams to update tax relevant data in SAP for Trade Route changes.
Own tax data quality governance by working with other Tax, Finance and our outsourced compliance provider teams, to identify, prioritise and deliver tax data quality enhancements. Also includes identification and remediation of incorrect or obsolete tax setups, as well as co-ordinating corrective actions to ensure audit readiness where data quality issues have arisen.
Handling tax process and transactions queries and routing the queries to correct resources for issue resolution, including Indirect Tax, GPO and Tech teams.
Supporting the Tax & Stats GPO in the implementation of tax law changes.
Identify and support implementing process improvement initiatives across Tax & Stat activities, including using Automation and Data & Analytics solutions (e.g. Alteryx, Power BI, Power Apps).
Required Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional accounting and/or tax qualification preferred.
5 years of experience in Finance and Tax within an international environment.
Knowledge of indirect taxes and tax operational processes.
Demonstrated experience leading or developing teams.
Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships across multiple functions and geographies.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and tax configuration, preferably SAP.
Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and drive sustainable process improvements.
Communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with complex international trade routes and multi-leg financial and physical flows.
- Knowledge of automation and analytics tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, and Power Apps.

PLN 206,195.00 - PLN 283,518.40 The salary range for this position is indicative and provided as a guide. The final offer may vary depending on factors including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. Further details regarding the total reward and benefits package will be shared during the recruitment process. Salary ranges may vary by location in line with local market conditions and applicable pay transparency regulations. Compensation information is shared for the primary location of this role. Where the position is advertised with additional locations the compensation range will be discussed during the recruiting process.
