Position Overview
Employment Type: Per Diem
- Schedule: Minimum requirement of 4 shifts per month; 2 pm-10 pm, flexible swing shift schedule (variable days)
Call: None
Patient Volume: Varies
Locations: Northern Nevada Medical Center, Sierra Medical Center
- Team: Work alongside a cohesive group of Hospitalists who support one another and communicate well
- Technology: Cerner EMR
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with supervising physician
- Perform clinical assessments within the scope of licensure
Perform initial history and physical exams
Document care using Cerner
Care planning and reassessment
Patient and family education and counseling regarding diagnostics, treatment plan, and medications
Complete billing and query responses in a timely manner
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive per diem compensation at $80 per hour + comprehensive malpractice coverage
No State Income Tax
Qualifications
Board Certified APRN or PA-C
REQUIRED: Minimum of one year experience out of training — new graduates will not be accepted for this opportunity
Active or eligible Nevada medical license
While all candidates will be considered, Nevada candidates are preferred
This position is not eligible for J-1 or H1-B visa sponsorship
