JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ferrovial has an exciting, entry-level payroll tax analyst position for a recent
• graduate or early career professional. A Payroll Tax Analyst manages payroll tax
• compliance, ensures accurate reporting, and provides expertise on federal,
• state, and local tax regulations.

• This is an onsite, hybrid position in the Woodlands, TX.

Key Responsibilities

• Tax Reporting and Payments: Review and reconcile payroll tax payments and

filings, including W-2s, W-2c’s, and quarterly/annual returns).

• Data Analysis: Analyze payroll tax data, perform calculations, and provide

insights to management for decision-making

• Process Documentation: Design, document, and review payroll tax procedures to

maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation

• Problem Resolution: Research and resolve payroll tax discrepancies, notices,

or compliance issues for multi-state entities

• Collaboration: Work closely with payroll, HR, and accounting teams to ensure

accurate employee data and tax reporting

• Special Projects: Assist Payroll Tax Manager with strategic initiatives,

audits, and process improvements

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
• Years of Experience: 0-2

Essential Skills

• Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical abilities to calculate

taxes, deductions, and benefits accurately

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in reviewing payroll data and ensuring

compliance with tax laws

• Communication: Ability to explain complex tax matters to non-tax stakeholders

and collaborate across departments

• Problem-Solving: Capable of resolving discrepancies and handling audits

effectively

• Technical Skills: MS applications, excel, word
• AI: AI Software tools - Microsoft Copilot preferred, not required
