Position - Personal Tax Manager

Salary - £46,500.00-£54,000.00 per annum

Contract opportunity is available

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week

Role - Part Time/Hybrid

Location - Cheltenham, GL50

Our client, a renowned Chartered Accountants firm, delivers exceptional services to a varied client base. They are seeking a Tax Manager to lead and develop team members, review their work, and collaborate on various projects with the director. The role also includes business development and networking activities.

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience in Personal Tax or Mixed Tax within a practice setting.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach.
  • Organized, confident, and detail-oriented with a commitment to meeting deadlines.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Direct preparation of client work.
  • Review files from team members and provide feedback.
  • Drive commercial success and contribute to the firm's growth.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering trusted advisory services.
  • Identify and advise on tax planning opportunities.

**Ideal Candidate Profile:**

  • CTA qualified preferred; consideration for those with relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in producing high-quality tax work within budget.
  • Background in a tax environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge.
  • Self-motivated and capable of independent work.
  • Knowledge of expatriate tax is a plus.
  • Eager to contribute to the firm's success.
