Oversees local and regional customs and or trade compliance processes and operations to ensure adherence to regulations including cost mitigation opportunities. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient trade compliance and customs processes. , that are embedded into supply chain initiatives on a global scale.

Develops strategic policies to enable fair trade and mitigate associated risks in trade compliance and customs processes. Key Areas of Responsibility • Monitors changes in trade laws to ensure compliance and adapts strategies. • Provides training and guidance to teams on trade and customs regulations.

• Conducts audits to identify areas for improvement in trade compliance. • Manages relationships with customs and trade partners. • Provides governance, risk assessment, and standardization of trade and customs processes.

• Defines strategy and deploys trade and customs standards and processes. • Oversees outsourced support on trade compliance data elements to meet regulatory requirements. • Oversees the quality of outsourced support on trade compliance data elements (HS classification, origin) in line with regulatory requirements.

• Participates in duty optimization programs across the region (Free Trade Agreements, special customs regimes, governmental programs). • Drives harmonization of customs procedures and rationalization of customs brokerage network. • Supports export control related activities in partnership with GTC Export Control and Sanctions Program manager .

• Supports internal and external audit. • Oversees the legitimacy of FTA utilization including timely and efficient provision of Origin Certificates towards customers. • Defines strategy on import duty optimization by applying duty mitigation programs.

• Actively promotes and supports global brokerage approach on optimizing outsourced brokerage spend. • Directs/leads a team of trade compliance and customs professionals. Critical Experiences • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, legal, business administration.
