KPMG is looking for a Resource Specialist to join the National Tax Resource Management Team within Private Enterprise Core Services (PECS). In this role, you will support the administration, reporting, scheduling, and coordination activities that enable effective resource management across the national PECS practice. Working closely with resource managers, business leaders, and stakeholders across the firm, you will maintain staffing information, support workforce planning activities, and contribute to the effective deployment of resources across teams.
What you will do
- Maintain staffing schedules and process resource requests
- Coordinate resource requirements by participating in staff and manager planning meetings to understand client and staffing needs
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and collaborate with stakeholders across the practice to support resource allocation
- Monitor staff availability, skills, interests, and capacity to support workforce planning decisions
- Prepare, distribute, and analyze staffing reports and workforce planning information to support operational decision-making
- Maintain accurate data within resource management systems and tools and support utilization tracking and forecasting activities
- Coordinate training activities, campus hire onboarding, and departure-related processes in collaboration with tax teams
- Support projects, meetings, communications, and other operational initiatives across the National Tax Resource Management Team
- What you bring to the role
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, including data extraction, manipulation, and reporting
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working in a professional services or client-focused environment
- Knowledge of resource management, forecasting, or workforce planning tools is considered an asset
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
- Post-secondary education in a related field
- KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $82,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
