We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accounts Payable & Tax Associate to oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations, ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, and support accurate financial reporting and expenditure planning. This role plays a key part in maintaining healthy cash flow, vendor relationships, and financial governance across the organization.

  • Manage the end-to-end AP process, including invoice verification, processing, and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Assist in reviewing budget availability and cost center/project allocation prior to AP payment processing, highlighting any discrepancies for follow-up.
  • Support expenditure forecasting by monitoring approved Purchase Orders (POs), providing visibility into committed spending and expected payment timing to support cash flow planning.
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, including the calculation, payment, and accurate reporting of applicable taxes (e.g., PPh 21 Non-Employee, PPh 23, PPh 4(2), VAT and Annual Income Tax).
  • Assisting Tax Audit preparations (All Taxes) and coordinating with tax consultants. Including preparing monthly tax equalizations with the Accounting Team to get visibility for future tax Audits.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records, support month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensure all transactions are recorded in accordance with accounting principles.
  • Assist in preparing payable and tax reports for management review.
  • Support the migration and reconciliation of financial data from the AP Retool system to Accurate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, tax, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in a finance role, preferably within the construction, manufacturing, startup or retail industry.
  • Solid understanding of fundamental bookkeeping and administrative principles.
  • Mandatory: Working knowledge of Indonesian tax compliance requirements, including PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 4(2), and PPN/VAT calculation, payment, and monthly/annual SPT reporting.
  • Brevet A & B tax certification is preferred.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and common accounting software (Accurate Online is plus).
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth company environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
