  • Produce accurate, complete, and review-ready work.
  • Communicate proactively with clients and the wider accounting team.

Requirements

**Required Qualifications (Must-Have):**

  • Around **7+ years of relevant accounting experience**.
  • Strong experience working with **Australian accounting firms / Australian public practice**.
  • Solid knowledge of **Australian taxation**.
  • Proven end-to-end accounting experience.

  • Proficiency in **Excel**.
  • Knowledge of **Division 7A**.
  • Experience preparing tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and superannuation funds.
  • Experience with **GST, BAS, PAYG, and ATO reconciliations**.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal manager supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work consistently.
  • Stable track record in similar accounting roles.
  • Proactive, reliable, and professional approach to work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience preparing full tax plans.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing superannuation reports.
  • Strong Australian tax legislation research skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and investigate accounting discrepancies before review.
