The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance activities, supporting tax-related initiatives, and ensuring adherence to statutory requirements while contributing to the financial excellence of a globally recognized organization.

**Job Responsibilities:**
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation, review, and submission of direct and indirect tax returns in compliance with applicable tax regulations.
- Assist in tax planning initiatives while ensuring compliance with Inland Revenue, VAT, Customs, and other statutory requirements.
- Liaise with the Inland Revenue Department, external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities on tax-related matters.
- Prepare tax computations, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation for audits and statutory reporting.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on business operations.
- Support the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and other tax compliance requirements where applicable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax implications are considered in business decisions and projects.
- Maintain accurate tax records and contribute to continuous improvements in tax processes and internal controls.
**Candidate Profile:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
- Full or part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification will be an added advantage.
- 3–5 years of experience in taxation, finance, or accounting, preferably within a corporate environment or a reputed audit firm.
- Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan tax legislation, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Tax, SSCL, Customs regulations, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities and meeting strict deadlines.
