- Avangrid Purpose: The Senior Manager- Corporate Tax is involved in highly confidential tax planning initiatives and participates in a wide range of federal, state and international tax issues. This leader focuses on providing value added, quality tax information to our internal and external customers while mentoring and developing Corporate and other tax team members. This individual has the background and

experience

to successfully manage projects and independently work with business units. This role reports to the Director, Tax Planning, Audits and Risk Management. Responsibilities: Manage complex tax planning initiatives and collaboratively work with business units and executive management to implement recommendations and actions.

Tax planning advisor for renewable and utility income tax matters and leads associated communication with external tax counsel on various topics including all relevant OB3 provisions. Evaluate business opportunities and global strategic initiatives through documentation analysis in support of financing and investing decisions. Provide strategic tax support to Corporate Development for entity and organization structuring heavily weighted with partnerships and LLCs.

Manage tax development monitoring, communication and Management engagement on business relevant topics. Lead due diligence for sales and acquisitions of assets and entities. Respond to audit information data requests.

Furnish recommendations on global tax and transfer pricing issues, including review of inter-group financing arrangements and support of annual US transfer price study. Assist with tax capacity forecasts and valuation allowance analyses, including support of technical tax matters that impact deductions, credits, and cash flow timing. Contribute to the growth and development of team members.
