Manages an accounting department. Oversees preparation of standard and specialized financial reports (e. g.

, balance sheets, income statements, and monthly closing reports) according to Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP) or other regulatory requirements. Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries into accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions. Analyzes and reviews internal and external reporting.

Establishes, maintains, and coordinates the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures in accordance with internal control framework. Specializes in various accounting functions. Resolves issues and contributes to the business unit/area development.

Specializes in SEC accounting. Manages the work efforts of supervisors and/or individual contributors with responsibility for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews. Leads accounting research, worldwide consolidation and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

•Responsible for managing the daily activities related to an accounting team in accordance with GAAP. Ensures the overall integrity of the accounting process. Maintains up-to-date documented policies and procedures.

Prepares the consolidated financial statements. Provides annual PBC's in preparation of the external audit. Prepares and/or reviews financial statements variance analysis.

Responsible for maintaining and/or operating an effective internal control environment in conformance with company compliance requirements.

00/year in our lowest geographic market up to 193,856. 30 USD/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
