• We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join Caterpillar Finance team in
• Warsaw. This role goes beyond traditional Polish tax accounting and offers
• exposure to tax processes across multiple countries, including the Baltic
• region. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing accounting
• data from a tax perspective, preparing tax-related reporting and declarations,
• and supporting quarterly close activities. The position involves close
• cooperation with tax teams, finance colleagues, and external tax advisors across
• different jurisdictions.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Preparing correct data for tax returns and declarations, including JPK VAT,

VAT-EU, CIT, and other tax reporting requirements;

• Preparing transfer pricing documentation;
• Preparing IFT and ORD tax declarations, Road Tax, and Withholding Tax (WHT)

returns;

• Preparing JPK_KR_PD and monitor correctness of data on monthly basis
• Implementing JPK_ST_KR
• Analysing General Ledger account balances and entries;
• Cooperating with tax authorities and other financial institutions;
• Cooperating with tax offices in the Baltic countries (preliminary preparation

of data for CIT and VAT purposes);

• Calculating deferred tax;
• Participating in US GAAP reporting;
• Reviewing accounting documents for compliance with tax regulations and tax

settlement requirements;

• Providing ongoing tax and accounting support to the accounting team;
• Monitoring changes in tax regulations and legislation;
• Identifying areas of potential tax risk;
• MDR (Mandatory Disclosure Rules) reporting;
• Supporting the preparation of reports for the National Bank of Poland (NBP)

and the Central Statistical Office (GUS) and Intrastat;

• Analyzing tax regulations, interpreting court rulings, and implementing them

in relation to specific cases occurring within the company

Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the field of taxation;
• Practical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations

(particularly within the leasing industry);

• English language skills sufficient for effective communication;
• Strong problem-identification and solution-oriented mindset;
• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel;
• Excellent communication skills, consistency in task execution, strong

organizational abilities, ability to work under time pressure, accuracy,

responsibility, and commitment to meeting deadlines.

Base Minimum Pay

• zł192,613.00
