
Senior Tax Accountant

Our client, an established local CPA
firm in WNY, is looking to hire a Senior Tax Accountant to join their growing
team. This is an excellent opportunity in their North Towns location with
room for growth.

- Prepare
federal and state tax returns for several different clients—individuals,
tax-exempt, S-Corps, C-Corps, trusts/estates, etc.
- Review
returns for accuracy and ensure they are filed in a timely manner
- Collect
necessary paperwork for each client to ensure precise tax reports are
filed
- Maintain positive
working relationships with each client, advising on appropriate tax
planning to each of their unique financial goals
- Address inquiries/issues
in a timely manner, offering educated answers and resolutions
- Remain
up-to-date with all federal and state tax laws, updating clients as
necessary
- Work well in
a team environment as well as independently
- Complete projects in a timely manner, possessing
the ability to move from one to another with ease
- Work well in a fast-paced, high-volume
environment
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary

- Position is full time, direct hire
- 100% in-office: standard 40
hours/week; 60 hours/week during tax season; 36 hours/week over the summer
with flexibility
- $65,000 - $100,000 annually depending
on experience
- Bachelor’s degree in
accounting or similar
- CPA license or in process of
obtaining preferred

- 3+ years’ relative experience
in Tax Accounting
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong organizational and
time management skills
- Strong communication and
presentation skills
- Strong technical skills
- Self-motivated
