**About the position**

We are looking for a detail-oriented **Senior Tax Account, US** to support the company’s US tax function, with responsibilities across both **direct tax** and **indirect tax**. Direct tax responsibilities include **US corporate income tax compliance and reporting at the federal and state levels**. Indirect tax responsibilities include **sales and use tax** and other indirect tax matters. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, solid technical knowledge, and good communication skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external advisors.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support **US corporate income tax** compliance for federal and state filings, including preparation, review, and coordination of required workpapers and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with **US tax payments and tracking**, including coordination of federal and state estimated tax payments, extensions, and maintaining related payment records. Support **state tax compliance** matters, including tracking filing requirements, apportionment data, and state notices.
  • Manage **indirect tax** responsibilities, including **sales and use tax** computation and other indirect tax filings, registrations, and compliance requirements.
  • Review transactions and business activities for potential **federal, state, and indirect tax** implications.
  • Monitor tax notices and assist with responses to inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Support tax audits and information requests by gathering documentation and coordinating with internal teams and external advisors.
  • Partner with accounting, finance, invoicing, and other business functions to collect data and resolve tax-related issues.
  • Maintain organized tax calendars, filing trackers, and documentation to ensure timely and accurate compliance.
  • Assist with process improvements and strengthening controls within the tax function.
  • Stay current on developments in **US federal and state corporate tax** and indirect tax rules.

**Qualifications**

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of tax experience, preferably with exposure to **US corporate tax**.
  • Experience with **US federal and state corporate income tax** compliance and provision support.
  • Experience with **sales and use tax** and other indirect tax matters is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data and tax workpapers.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external advisors is a plus.
  • CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus but not required.
  • Amenable to night shift schedule and hybrid setup.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
