Senior Tax Accountant

**SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT - PUBLIC ACCOUNTING**

**Location: Bergen County, NJ**

**Compensation: $150K - $200K base, plus major incentives.**

Our client is **a prestigious, multi-location public accounting and financial services firm**seeking a full-time **Senior Tax Accountant**. Due to a recent acquisition, they are expanding and need experienced **CPA professionals** who can manage all aspects of accounting work, from write-up to tax return preparation.

**Key Opportunity – Tax Professional**

• **CPA required**
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• **3+ years of recent public accounting experience**
• Able to handle full-scope accounting work, from write-up through tax preparation
• Proficient in Accounting CS, UltraTax CS, and Fixed Assets CS
• Strong knowledge of payroll and sales tax laws
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients

**Responsibilities:**

• Maintain corporate financial records and perform full-scope tax accounting for individuals and businesses
• Prepare individual, trust, estate, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Record journal entries, depreciation, and adjustments based on tax returns
• Prepare tax-based financial statements and research/respond to tax-related inquiries
