Senior Tax Analyst (Income Tax)
Role description
From the employer**This role requires candidates to be onsite 5-days per week (M-F) at our Rosemont, IL Headquarters**
Position Responsibilities
Support tax planning projects including analysis, documentation, and presentation of conclusions. Develop relationships with business leaders for the assigned business unit and identify tax planning opportunities and risk mitigation Liaise with outside accountants in the filing of federal, state and international tax returns Support and implement process and technology improvement initiatives within the Tax Department Assist with federal, state and local tax audits including performing tax research, summarizing data and drafting audit responses Lead efforts for preparation of federal and state income and franchise tax returns, extensions and estimated tax payments, including analyzing book to tax differences and review of returns and vouchers Team with business units to accumulate tax information for tax return preparation and budgeting purposes Assist in responding to notices Other projects or duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree with 4 to 6 years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 7 to 9 plus years of specific experience
Preferred Education and Experience
Master’s Degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
