Role Summary: Direct and Indirect tax matters (GST and Income Tax), Maintenance of tax records, books of accounts, support in group reporting and statutory accounts, handling CAPEX accounting and matter of accounts and finance. Key responsibilities and activities include, but is not limited to: Taxation (Direct & Indirect) · Prepare and assist in filing GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns monthly and yearly · Handle tax assessments, notices, and documentations · Preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

· Prepare and review tax reconciliations for WHT, VAT, and other tax accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies, and follow up with any receivables balances, if applicable. · Prepare tax schedules and reconciliations to support tax returns, statutory audits, and tax audits. · Track capital allowance claims and maintain supporting documentation for tax reporting purposes.

· Track compliance deadlines and ensure timely filings · Co-ordinate with business to ensure Tax compliance across procurement, sales and finance processes · Prepare management reports and tax compliance dashboard · Collaborate with Auditors, Tax Consultants and Tax Department. · Support in end to end Tax and Accounting matters. Accounting & Book Closure · Maintain books of accounts and pass journal entries and support in variance analysis · Perform account reconciliations and ledger scrutiny · Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register and Depreciation · Review and monitor Assets Under Construction (AUC) balances to ensure timely capitalization and compliance with accounting policies - CAPEX.

· Import Vendor Management (Accounts Payable) · Support month-end and year-end closures · Handling documentations with banks and regulatory authorities · Undertake any additional responsibilities or ad-hoc assignments as required by the management Audit Support · Coordinate with auditors and prepare schedules · Support finance team during statutory / group audits · Resolve audit queries and assist closure Compliance & Controls · Ensure compliance with Companies Act, GST Act, Income Tax Act and Group Guidelines · Maintain internal controls Education : Bachelor's degree in Commerce/ Finance/Accounting, with 4 years of relevant experience in tax and accounting.
