We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented **Senior Tax and Finance Specialist** to join our team. This role will work closely with our finance and accounting departments to ensure tax compliance, optimize processes, and support international tax initiatives. **Your Responsibilities:**
**Tax Compliance & Reporting:**
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns (CIT, VAT, Withholding Taxes, etc.) in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax payments and filings to authorities.
- Manage international tax matters, including Transfer Pricing, Intercompany agreements, and country-specific tax projects (e.g., CbCR, Pillar II).
- Handle tax audits and inquiries, identifying and mitigating tax risks.
- Support HQ and local entities on tax planning, incentives, and compliance.
**Finance & Accounting:**
- Oversee financial statements, accounting closures, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Support external audits, and manage financial documents (journals, inventory books, etc.).
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and communication with local banks.
- Provide support on financial aspects of public-funded projects and statistical surveys.
- Assist teams with **ISTAT questionnaires**, **statistical surveys**, and provide financial support for **public-funded projects**.
- Help manage **forecasting**, **budgeting**, and **financial reporting** for subsidiaries, while supporting the **HQ Finance team** on related matters.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:**
- **Master’s degree** (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- **3+ years** of experience in tax roles within multinational companies.
- Strong **knowledge of tax laws, accounting standards** (IAS/IFRS/OIC), and audit processes.
- Proficient in **tax software** (Desktop Telematico, Cassetto Fiscale, etc.).
- Excellent **analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills**.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet deadlines while working collaboratively in a multicultural setting.
