Overall Purpose: The Senior Tax Manager is responsible for analysis, preparation, and presentation of the worldwide income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740 under U.S. generally accepted accounting principles.
Job Description
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare recurring income tax accruals
Manage tax account reconciliations
Prepare quarterly tax provision calculations including effective tax rate, deferred taxes rollforward, uncertain tax positions and valuation allowances
Prepare interim and yearend financial statement disclosures in accordance with ASC 740
Analyze and manage uncertain tax positions
Comply with company policy and SOX controls in accordance with ASC 740
Provide support for research on tax implications of business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations.
Collaborate with team members and tax advisors to complete ad hoc projects.
Identifies and helps to implement operational efficiencies and enhancements through use of automation and technology.

Desired Qualifications
- Focused experience in tax accounting and reporting.
- Critical thinking skills with experience recognizing and evaluating tax issues.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including use of complex functions
Experience with OneSource Tax Provision, Power BI or Alteryx is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-financial stakeholders and colleagues.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
3+ years of Big 4 or
large corporate experience in primarily an income tax accounting role.
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field required. CPA license preferred.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 3+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
