Senior Tax Manager
Role description
From the employerPrimary Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage U.S. international components of the quarterly and annual worldwide
income tax provision process.
- Prepare and review international tax calculations including Subpart F, GILTI,
FDII, BEAT, foreign tax credits, and FIN 48 reserve.
- Review foreign tax packages and support information required for financial
statement audit, income tax audits and other jurisdiction specific tax
examinations.
- Support the preparation of US international tax return workpapers and
compliance filings, including Forms 1118, 5471, 8858 and 926.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support tax-efficient
structuring for business operation, expansion activities, and strategic
initiatives, optimizing tax outcomes while supporting business objectives.
- Collaborate with regional tax managers to ensure timely and accurate
completion of tax filings and regulatory submissions.
- Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of
international tax compliance and reporting.
- Assist in management of international tax projects including coordination
with external advisors.
- Support tax planning initiatives and cross-functional assignments as needed.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. The above statements

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation or a related field
required; advanced degree preferred
- 7+ years of inter nation tax experience, preferably within a multinational
corporation and/or a public accounting firm
- CPA certification preferred
- Hands-on experience with tax technology and compliance software, including
CorpTax, preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather,
interpret, and analyze complex data effectively.
- Responds to inquiries quickly with professionalism and tact
Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of US international tax rules and experience with
financial and accounting systems
- Deep understanding of ASC740 and US GAAP concepts in a global organization
- Ability to read and interpret information accurately and concisely
- Maintains high level of confidentiality
- Ability to organize, manage, prioritize, and handle numerous projects/tasks
and collaborate with internal and external customers
- Works well as an individual and as part of a team, willing and eager to help
others and share knowledge and skills
- Willing to be flexible and committed to strict reporting and tax deadlines
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in Mandarin is a plus
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
