Smythe LLP is seeking a collaborative and people-focused **Senior Tax Manager – International Tax** to join our growing Tax team in downtown Vancouver. This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex cross-border engagements, mentor high-performing teams, and play a key role in shaping the future of our International Tax practice — with a clear pathway to Partnership.

**The Opportunity**

In this leadership role, you will

• Advise clients on complex international and cross-border tax matters
• Manage cross-boarder tax planning and compliance engagements
• Lead engagements involving EIFEL, FAPI, surplus calculations, foreign reporting, withholding tax, and treaty interpretation
• Build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor
• Mentor and develop team members
• Contribute to practice growth and business development initiatives

**What You Bring**

• CPA designation
• 5+ years of Canadian tax experience with a focus on international tax
• Strong technical knowledge and leadership capabilities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A collaborative, growth-oriented mindset
