**Location:** Riyadh, KSA
**Contract:** 3-6 Months (Extendable)
**Job Summary:**
Our client is seeking a highly experienced **Senior Tax Manager** to lead the tax advisory function on a consulting basis. The role encompasses tax planning, compliance oversight, and transaction advisory, while also focusing on **translating tax strategy into actionable execution plans**, preparing **C-level presentations (decks)**, and **leading cross-functional tax projects**. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and oversee all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and controversy management
- Design and implement tax strategies to optimize efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide strategic tax advisory on complex transactions including M&A, restructurings, and financing arrangements
- Translate tax policy and regulatory requirements into operational frameworks and clear executive deliverables
- Prepare professional tax decks and strategic reports for executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Manage tax audits and disputes; liaise with regulatory authorities as required
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and accounting teams to align tax strategy with organizational objectives
- Monitor developments in domestic and international tax legislation and assess their business implications
- Build and manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and authorities
**Qualifications & Experience:**
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced qualification (MBA, JD, LLM) preferred
- Minimum 5 years of progressive tax experience, including leadership or consulting roles
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or EA required
- In-depth knowledge of regional and international tax laws and frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex tax projects and deliver board-level insights
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience in preparing and presenting executive-level decks and translating technical tax insights into business action.
