From the employerWe are currently seeking to hire a highly motivated and dedicated Senior Tax Specialist (all genders) Permanent and fulltime Location: Hamburg or Göttingen, Germany
Responsibilities
Preparation of Tax Movement Schedules by analyzing tax accounts Preparation of quarterly and YE tax bookings Preparation of quarterly and yearly corporate income tax and trade tax calculation Preparation of tax cash flow, reconciling and explaining variances Performing flux analysis, explaining QoQ and YoY movements for balance sheet and PnL tax movements Discussions with local tax teams on their topics, esp.
during quarterly closings Contribution in the financial statements audit, communication with auditors, answering their questions and handling requests Yearly reconciliation of Deferred Taxes Preparing the CbCR, analyzing accounts in line with guidelines, supporting with the submission through external advisor Supporting with the implementation of Pillar II reports and preparing the Pillar 2 Exposure Check, analyzing potential Top-Up tax based on different scenarios Support and processing of all SOX controls in CBCR and Pillar 2 context Preparation of research and documentation on various tax risks in an international context Assisting in tax audit incl.
Required qualifications
