
Senior Vice President – Tax- Transfer Pricing
Role description
From the employer**Business & Finance Co-ordination**
- Assist in the coordination and management of Citi's transfer pricing methodologies across businesses, functions and geographies
- Work with tax, FP&A and Controller teams to gather and validate financial and operational data.
- Translate business activities into clear, defensible Transfer pricing narratives.
- Assist stakeholders with Transfer Pricing related questions and day-to-day matters.
- Manage transfer pricing methodologies and their implementation, perform periodic reviews, support audit and governance processes, and suggest enhancements that can be implemented in response to stakeholder evolving requirements.
- Business advisory services to ensure Citi’s transfer pricing evolves with changes in businesses and broader strategy
- Ensuring transfer pricing methodologies align to the tax requirements and business
- Experienced operational transfer pricing knowledge to navigate across systems, ledgers and product processors
**Audit & Risk Support**
- Support transfer pricing audits and tax authority enquiries.
- Assist with responses to information requests and audit defense materials.
- Identify potential transfer pricing risks and escalate issues where appropriate.
**External Advisor Management**
- Coordinate with external advisors where required, reviewing deliverables for quality and consistency.
- Help optimize the use of advisers to control costs and timelines.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance workflows and documentation quality.
**Skills:**
- Deep knowledge of tax transfer pricing and global transfer pricing guidelines (US & OECD guidelines)
- Ability to read and interpret regulations and decide on suitable course of action
- Good understanding of economics, financial management, statistics and taxation
- Ability to work independently with limited direction
- Strong inter-personal skills, excellent Analytical skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to lead projects involving multi-disciplinary teams across jurisdictions
- Ability to interact with all levels of management
- Ability to handle large and complex databases and ability to transform processes and knowledge of AI and use cases
- Experience with Tableau, Knime and MS Office
**Qualifications:**
- Chartered Accountant, Economist
- Master’s degree preferred
- Financial services knowledge
