From the employerJob Description: Job Purpose/Overview The Senior Indirect Tax Analyst is responsible for managing and executing activities related to the calculation, control, and compliance of indirect tax obligations. This role includes overseeing the daily operations of a team of junior and mid-level tax analysts and tax assistants, ensuring efficient task execution and fostering team development.
Additionally, the Senior Analyst will lead strategic tax projects focusing on process improvement and regulatory compliance. What are we looking for?
experience
Expertise in complex tax projects;
Experience
in the big 4 company is desirable; Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field (such as Law); Hands-on
experience
in tax-related projects and process automation; Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus; Postgraduate degree or MBA in Tax Management, Finance, or related areas is a plus; Project management certifications are a plus.
Experience
maintaining and operating transaction tax calculation and compliance software (desirable SAP, SATI, TaxOne); Excellent oral and written communication skills; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Highly organized, self-motivated and detail oriented; English

- Intermediate; What will be your key responsibilities? Support for tax planning projects; Respond to ad-hoc requests; Oversee internal tax processes to ensure compliance with current tax regulations; Prepare management reports to support strategic decision-making; Provide technical support for internal and external audits; Monitor changes in tax legislation and align strategies to mitigate risks; Document workflow, procedures, checklists, and policies for assigned tasks; Plan and lead tax-related projects, including tax recovery initiatives, compliance automation, and system implementations; Strategically delegate tasks to ensure efficiency and adherence to deadlines; Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery; Provide guidance to the team; Perform and/or supervise the calculation and filing of indirect taxes (PIS, Cofins, ICMS, ICMS-ST, IPI and ISSQN); Ensure accurate preparation and submission of tax ancillary obligations (SPED Fiscal, EFD Contribuições, GIA, GIA-ST, DCTF, etc); Prepare and/or review tax accounting reconciliations; Foster the professional and technical development of team members.
