requirements

Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas of risk and develop strategies to mitigate potential compliance issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement and improve trade compliance policies and procedures Oversee the classification of products by ensuring accurate tariff codes, export controls, and partner government agencies (PGA) information. Serve as a subject matter expert on trade compliance, providing training and guidance to employees across the organization Handle import and export licensing processes, including applications, renewals, and record keeping Effectively communicate with external partners, such as customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies, to ensure smooth and compliant movement of goods Monitor and investigate potential violations of trade compliance regulations, and assist in implementing corrective actions Who You Are: BS or BA degree and at least 5 years in an import/export position or 3 years with Masters.

Experience

in trade compliance, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry Professional certifications in trade compliance (e. g. , Licensed Customs Broker) Detailed knowledge of Roche Diagnostics products and parts thereof Familiarity with trade compliance software and tools This is not a remote role.

This role supports hybrid model of three days in the office and two days at home. Location is at the Roche US Diagnostics headquarters in Indianapolis.

Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
