Our client, a progressive Melbourne-based firm, is leading the charge in providing modern solutions for Small to Medium Businesses, exclusively using Xero and a cutting-edge app stack. **What You’ll Do:**

• Prepare and review workpapers and financial statements for companies, trusts, and individuals.

• Prepare accurate and compliant tax returns.

• Preparation of BAS and IAS.

• Handle tax compliance and reporting requirements.

• Utilize Xero for managing and analyzing financial data.

• Directly liaise with clients to provide tax advice and support.

• Ensure all financial documentation and reports are meticulously detailed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• **4+ years of experience in Australian Tax and Accounting**
• Proficiency in Xero and strong financial statement and tax return preparation
• Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal
• A detail-oriented, analytical mindset and an ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines
