Position: TAX Accountant

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced TAX Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all tax-related activities for the company, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws, and maximizing tax efficiency. This is a full-time, permanent position based in 6th of October City, Egypt.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes, in compliance with local laws and regulations

• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure the company's tax strategies are up-to-date and in compliance with all requirements

• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate tax records and documentation

• Conduct tax research and provide guidance to management on tax-related matters

• Liaise with external tax advisors and authorities as needed

• Assist with tax audits and investigations

• Monitor and review tax payments and ensure timely and accurate payment

• Work closely with the finance and accounting team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax-related information

• Provide support and guidance to other departments on tax matters

• Keep abreast of industry trends and developments in tax laws and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• CPA or other relevant certification is preferred

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in the real estate industry

• Strong knowledge of local and international tax laws and regulations

• Experience with tax planning and compliance

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software

• Fluency in English and Arabic is required
