
Tax Accountant

Our client,
an established boutique firm in the South towns of WNY, is looking to add a Tax
Accountant to join their growing team. This
is an excellent opportunity for growth, leadership, and potential partnership.
- Prepare and file tax
returns for individuals, partnerships, corporate, and trusts
- Collect and
review information from clients ensuring accuracy
- Research any
issues and follow up with clients via email/phone regarding any possible
discrepancies
- Build and
maintain relationships with clients to ensure tax returns are being completed
within a timely manner
- Develop
industry-specific strategies with clients to support overall business and
individual needs
- Remain up-to-date
with tax laws to ensure compliance
- Supervise and
mentor staff members driving professional development & growth while
reviewing work and ensuring accuracy and on-time filings
- Work well in a
team environment, as well as on an individual basis
- Complete special
projects as needed
- Other duties as
assigned/as necessary
- Position
is full-time, direct hire
- Hybrid
- $90,000-$110,000
depending on experience
- Bachelors’ degree
in Accounting
- CPA or
in-progress preferred
- 3+ years
tax accounting or public accounting experience with a focus on tax
- 1040/1065/1120S
experience preferred
- Great
interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong
organization skills and time management skills
- Strong
attention to detail
- Self-motivated
