**The Opportunity**

As a Tax Administration Assistant, you will become an integral member of our friendly and supportive Tax team, providing administrative assistance across a broad range of tax matters while gaining valuable exposure to the profession.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across the Tax team, including assisting with and overseeing AI-driven automation processes
  • Supporting the team with client onboarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for new clients
  • Assisting with billing and financial management, helping to maintain accurate records
  • Liaise with HMRC regarding clients' tax affairs and correspondence
  • Support the preparation, organisation and maintenance of client records and documentation
  • Assist colleagues with ad-hoc queries, projects and process improvements
  • Build positive relationships with clients and colleagues, ensuring a high standard of service is maintained
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes and ways of working

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • A proactive and positive approach, with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Strong team-working skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
