**Job Type:** Full-Time | Direct Hire

**Salary:** $140,000–$180,000 DOE

The Tax Advisory Manager leads the firm's strategic advisory practice, helping business owners and high-net-worth individuals reduce taxes, build wealth, and make informed financial decisions.

This role is focused less on compliance and more on proactive planning, client strategy, leadership, and developing advisory services across the firm.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical tax expertise with exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex tax planning and advisory engagements
  • Design tax strategies for business owners, investors, and real estate clients
  • Oversee advanced tax research and planning projects
  • Review complex tax positions and planning recommendations
  • Lead client strategy meetings throughout the year
  • Mentor Tax Managers, Advisory Seniors, and Tax Seniors
  • Improve advisory processes, systems, and client experience
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on growth initiatives
  • Stay ahead of tax legislation and planning opportunities

Requirements

  • 8-12+ years of public accounting tax experience
  • Extensive experience in tax planning and advisory
  • Strong background with pass-through entities, business owners, and real estate taxation
  • CPA required
  • Proven leadership and mentoring experience
  • Excellent client relationship and presentation skills
  • Strong tax research and strategic planning abilities
