Job Details: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Tax Analyst to support the company's tax activities in Brazil. The role is responsible for assisting with direct and indirect tax compliance, supporting tax-related projects, reviewing contracts from a tax perspective, participating in system implementations and process improvements, and contributing to the implementation of the Brazilian Tax Reform.

About the Team The Tax team plays a critical role in managing the company's tax obligations while driving improvements in processes, systems, and controls. As tax legislation continues to evolve in Brazil, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects, including the implementation of the Brazilian Tax Reform, and work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review calculations of corporate income tax (IRPJ/CSLL), PIS/COFINS, ISS, import taxes, and withholding taxes, ensuring compliance with Brazilian tax legislation Review and validate monthly and annual tax returns and ancillary obligations, ensuring timely and accurate filings Support the implementation of the Brazilian Tax Reform, including the assessment of impacts, process updates, system testing, and business readiness Review commercial and intercompany agreements from a tax perspective, identifying tax risks and providing practical recommendations Prepare tax reconciliations, analyses, and internal reports to support management and finance Support tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities, coordinating with external advisors when required Participate in tax system implementations, enhancements, testing, and process automation initiatives Build effective working relationships with Accounting, Legal, and business teams to ensure tax requirements are considered in day-to-day operations Maintain tax procedures, controls and documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, controls, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or law +5 years of experience in Brazilian corporate tax Solid understanding of Brazilian direct and indirect taxes and tax compliance requirements.
