Tax Analyst

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join our Finance team at CureMD. This role involves preparing accurate tax reports, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and keeping up to date with tax legislation to minimize risk and ensure compliance. The Tax Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing tax processes, identifying opportunities for tax savings, and contributing to the company’s financial objectives.

Job Responsibilities: Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including income, sales, and other applicable taxes. Assist in developing tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities and identify potential savings opportunities. Conduct detailed analyses of tax accounts and collaborate with the finance team to address and resolve discrepancies.

Support tax audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with internal and external auditors. Stay updated on tax law and regulation changes to ensure compliance and advise on necessary adjustments. Assist in transfer pricing documentation and analyze intercompany transactions for compliance.

Provide tax insights and reports to senior management, highlighting potential risks and opportunities. Contribute to the continuous improvement of tax processes, workflows, and systems for greater efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications: A bachelor's/master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Minimum 2 - 3 years of taxation experience. Solid understanding of federal, state, and international tax regulations. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all financial transactions.

Proficiency with accounting software, especially QuickBooks, is a plus. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
