From the employerWe are seeking a **Tax Accountant** to join a respected public accounting firm serving privately held businesses, business owners, and high-net-worth individuals. This opportunity is ideal for a tax professional with **3–5 years of public accounting experience** who enjoys preparing business and individual tax returns, building client relationships, and contributing to tax planning initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local business tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and S corporations
- Prepare complex individual income tax returns for business owners, executives, and high-net-worth clients
- Research tax regulations and assist with tax planning strategies
- Communicate directly with clients to gather information and provide tax guidance
- Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
- Partner with senior accountants and firm leadership on client engagements
- Assist with consulting projects and other specialized tax engagements
- Maintain accurate documentation and deliver high-quality client service
- Approximately 3–5 years of public accounting experience
- Strong background in tax preparation and tax compliance
- Experience preparing business entity and complex individual tax returns
- Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- CPA license or CPA candidate preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional time in the Allentown office
