Liberty Tax and Loans is a financial services company offering income tax preparation, payday loans, installment loans and check cashing. We also offer book keeping for select clients.

**Retail Tax Preparation and Loans Store Associate**

This position provides services in a retail office of tax, bookkeeping and loan operations in Mississippi. Located in Natchez, MS.

**Duties of the position:**

• Process loans for guests in accordance with the loan program in place.

• Prepare income tax returns in accordance with IRS and state regulations.

• Participate in ongoing training in loan process and income tax preparation.

• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations as well as program expectations of company agreements.

• Participate in store marketing and business development through community outreach, social media, guerilla marketing efforts and phone calls to potential guests.

• Work in a team environment to contribute to the success of the store.

• Maintain current knowledge in tax preparation, loan processing and other areas of business services.

**Requirements:**

• Willingness to obtain knowledge and training in loan processing and income tax preparation.

• Finance or accounting training/education preferred.

• Work experience in a team setting where your role is dependent upon the success of others and where others success is dependent upon your performance.

**Schedule:**

• Work hours for this position are flexible and scheduled based upon the needs of the store. However, during spring tax season additional hours will be required. 10-20hrs a week.

• Pay is commensurate with skills and experience.
