About the Role

As a Tax Associate with Falcon Tax & Consulting, you will work closely with our CPAs, Financial Planners, and clients to provide tailored, tax-efficient solutions. You will play a crucial role in gathering information, preparing tax returns, and supporting comprehensive tax planning strategies to help clients reduce their tax liability and maximize wealth accumulation.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare individual and small business tax returns efficiently and accurately. Experience with Lacerte tax software is a plus but not necessary.

Communicate regularly with clients, internal associates, and external professionals to assure all relevant information is addressed.

Assist CPAs and the broader wealth management team with tax-related matters and ongoing tax research.

Support day-to-day operations with organizational, administrative, and general office duties.

Maintain continuing professional education ensuring compliance with, and monitoring changes to, federal and state tax laws.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related business field.

1 to 3 years of tax and accounting experience preferred. However, recent or prospective college graduates with an accounting or related business degree, will also be considered.

Experience utilizing professional tax preparation software and client relationship management (CRM) systems, alongside familiarity with general office software (Microsoft Office Suite).

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with clients and internal associates in a clear and concise manner.

Strong analytical skills paired with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and a strict commitment to quality.

Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work effectively to meet tight deadlines.

Adaptable and flexible to change priorities as business needs dictate, with a team oriented mindset to support other associates.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Base Salary: $50,000-$85,000 depending on experience
