**About the Role:**
As a Tax Associate, you’ll work closely with clients in diverse industries, preparing tax returns, conducting research, and identifying opportunities for tax savings and process improvements. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values technical excellence, proactive communication, and strong client relationships.
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and nonprofit tax returns for clients, including supporting trial balances.
- Assistwith tax research, planning, and consulting projects.
- Organize and analyze financial data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Communicate directly with clients to gather information and answer questions in a professional, approachable manner.
- Identifypotential tax-saving strategies and process improvements.
- Stay current on relevant federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines andmaintainquality standards.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) inAccountingora relatedfield.
- Eligibility to work toward CPA licensure
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles andtaxconcepts.
- Clear, professional communication skills—both verbal and written.
- The ability to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A mindset that blends accuracy with efficiency, and technicalskillwithpeopleskills.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
